Background

From as early as 14 years of age on BBC Radio Oxford, Richard J Hannah has been broadcasting in particular and entertaining in general. He balanced ambitions with careers in the military, law and eventally consulting with building a parallel career on the radio and occassionally on the stage. His life has seen him travel extensively, and the Radio has been the perfect vehicle to share the fun and variety he has exoerienced and enjoys today.

His long career has seen him go from h Voicing Ads, Sky TV Sports programmes, video production and even training video production to one of most popular presenters on digital radio today. Richard not only hosts his shows, with a more than tongue in cheek genial fashion reminiscent of his mix of heritage and influences, he produces, researches and mixes his own shows. His talent for mimicry means he voices characters, not just for his shows but for colleagues. His afro- caribean/english/irish and Brazillian influences bring energy, variety and innovation to all that he does. On radio, this is pulled together through a deep distinctive mid atlantic presentation that can never be mistaken for anyone else.

Away from the microphone and off the stage, Richard is a highly successful Executive Consultant to a number of businesses .
