Richard was born in Buckinghamshire to an RAF airman who immigrated from Sierra Leone, West Africa. He was educated on airbases throughout Europe and the Far East before his family settled in Oxfordshire in the 1970s

Richard Hannah is a highly accomplished radio broadcaster, writer and voice artist. He has produced a vast amount of corporate content in various roles, including producer, video director, voice artist and even sound editor. He has hosted numerous syndicated personality-based radio shows across a diverse range of radio stations, including independent, digital, hospital and community radio. He previously operated a full production studio in Surrey, where he has worked on shows for clients such as Directline, Sainsbury's TV, Sky and Virgin Media. His versatility has seen him voicing sports TV shows on cable channels and creating early digital radio channels.
